New Business Account Executive – Insurance

Salary: £48,000 (depending on experience)

Location: Greater Manchester

We’re seeking an experienced New Business Account Executive to join a highly respected independent insurance brokerage with strong market presence and ambitious growth plans.

This is an excellent opportunity for an insurance professional who thrives on building relationships, winning new business, and delivering exceptional service.

Key Experience Required

• Minimum 5 years’ cross-class commercial insurance experience
• Proven ability to generate and convert new business leads
• Excellent client relationship and negotiation skills
• Strong market and insurer knowledge
• Resilient, driven, and comfortable working to targets
• Industry qualifications (desirable but not essential)

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and secure new commercial insurance clients
• Manage your own pipeline with some telemarketing support
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships
• Collaborate with account handlers to ensure a smooth onboarding process
• Oversee client retention through exceptional service and regular reviews
• Negotiate terms and ensure regulatory compliance
• Report on activity, achievements, and pipeline performance
