About the role
As Machine Shop Supervisor you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the Machine Shop, ensuring output, quality and safety standards are achieved.

This role focuses on delivering operational performance through strong leadership, effective resource management and the embedding of an SQCDP and continuous improvement culture.
Who we're looking for ; You will have supervisory experience within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment, ideally within a CNC machine shop, and demonstrate strong technical knowledge of machining processes with a track record of delivering operational performance improvements.
You will be a confident and proactive leader with the ability to motivate teams, manage performance and communicate effectively across departments.
Experience of working with performance metrics such as OEE and SQCDP is desirable, along with knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
A strong commitment to health and safety is essential.
A relevant engineering qualification or apprenticeship would be advantageous.
