Civils Site Manager

Location: South Yorkshire / Midlands
Type: Permanent, full-time
Linsco are delighted to recruiting for an experienced Civils Site Manager to join a well-established and forward contractor delivering a range of construction and civil engineering projects across the UK.
Due to good growth prospects and a solid outlook on upcoming projects, they are looking to bolster their site teams with experienced Civils Site Managers in the Yorkshire and Midlands areas.
This is a key role on site, responsible for driving programme, safety and quality while leading site teams and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day site operations on civils projects (earthworks, drainage, roads, structures, etc.)
Manage subcontractors, labour, plant, and materials to ensure efficient delivery
Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification
Maintain high standards of HSEQ in line with company and client requirements
Liaise with clients, engineers, and internal teams
Monitor progress against programme and report accordingly
Ensure all site documentation and permits are in place and up to date
Requirements
Proven experience as a Site Manager within civil engineering
Strong background in infrastructure / groundwork projects
TWC (Temporary Works Coordinator) certification
AP (Appointed Person - Lifting Operations) certification desirable
SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
CSCS (Black or Gold Card)
First Aid at Work
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple workstreams and prioritise effectively
