Lead Groundworker

Lead Groundworker Matchtech is seeking an experienced Ganger to lead a small civils team delivering essential drainage and wastewater network works across the South of England. You'll oversee day-to-day site operations, carrying out excavations, manhole repairs and installations while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This is a hands-on role involving team supervision, site coordination, risk assessments, and management of plant, materials, and equipment. Requirements: Groundworks, utilities, or civils experience Strong leadership and communication skills Good understanding of Health & Safety and safe site practices Experience using plant, tools, and machinery Full UK Driving Licence NRSWA (Streetworks) Cat & GennyIf you're a reliable, safety-focused leader looking to progress your civils career, we'd love to hear from you.
