1:1 Teaching Assistant - SEN

We are working to support a specialist school in Stockport to recruit a full-time 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated and experienced team.
The school caters to children aged 5 to 11 with a range of needs including:
- Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
- Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Speech, Language and Communication Needs
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties
- Sensory and/or Physical Needs
About the Role:
-As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant you will play a key role in supporting a 10 year old boy who has ADHD and complex needs, supporting him emotionally whilst tailoring lessons to his individual needs. You'll work closely with teaching staff and other professionals to help support the young boy.
-Stockport location, must be able to drive as location is rural
-Long term, full time
-ASAP start
Key Responsibilities:
-Support a young boy with ADHD and additional needs
- Provide 1:1 support
-Support the class teacher with other pupils and classroom management
