Engineering Manager

Engineering Manager, Milton Keynes, Salary £70,000 + package Engineering Manager required to lead and manage the Engineering department within a FMCG company based in Milton Keynes.    As Engineering Manager, you will lead the day-to-day activities of a team of maintenance engineers, ensuring the reliability and availability of all production and site-critical equipment and be responsible for the smooth running of the Engineering Department. You'll drive preventative maintenance strategies, promote a proactive engineering culture, and champion the highest standards of Health & Safety to support operational excellence across the site.You'll be responsible for maximising equipment reliability and managing CAPEX projects, and ensuring engineering excellence across a 24/7 operation.   The Engineering Manager will report to the Site Manager and have strong proven leadership skills, man management and support experience and be responsible for: Coordinating work within the teaAdhering and delivering on KPI's e.g. Planned maintenance, Health and Safety and quality Providing technical leadership - guiding the team on a proactive approach to preventing equipment failure Continuous improvements Projects Contractors on site Budget Management Capex Projects   The successful Engineering Manager must have: Experience of Leading an engineering function and engineering personnel Possess appropriate qualifications applicable to an Electrical Engineering discipline ( NVQ , C&G, HND or HNC ) Track record of improving department performance and creating and implementing new processes/ways of working Experience of working within a FMCG environment This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful manufacturing business where you'll play a key role in driving engineering performance, developing your team and supporting future site growth.   For more information and a confidential chat Apply now
