People Operations Officer/ Senior Administrator

People Operations Officer Glasgow 6 Months Temporary Contract initially We're looking for an organised and customer-focused People Operations Officer to join a busy HR team on an initial 6 month contract, supporting the delivery of high-quality people services across the employee life cycle. The role is offering a competitive hourly rate of £14.95 per hour, that would be paid weekly every Friday. You will work Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm, with flexibility where needed. You will be based in the Glasgow office 1 day per week and work 4 dys from home, enjoying a strong work from home flexibility. In this role, you'll provide HR administration across onboarding, offboarding, contracts, learning & development and employee records, while acting as a first point of contact for HR queries. You'll also help maintain HR systems, ensure data accuracy and compliance, and contribute to continuous process improvements. What we're looking for: Experience in HR administration across the employee lifecycle. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Experience using HR systems and Microsoft 365 applications. Good understanding of HR best practice and employment legislation. A CIPD qualification (or working towards one) and public sector HR experience are advantageous but not essential.
