Senior/Medical Writer – Promotional / Commercial (London/Hybrid)

This role is ideal for a Medical Writer with experience in promotional medical communications or a newly appointed Senior Medical Writer who is looking to broaden their skills across creative, strategic, and scientific deliverables within a supportive and innovative environment.
The Role
As a Commercial Medical Writer , you’ll:
Translate complex scientific data into engaging narratives and promotional content that drive behaviour change among HCPs and patients.
Develop high-quality copy for materials including digital sales aids, congress booth assets, leave pieces, email campaigns, websites, storyboards, and animations.
Collaborate closely with art directors, designers, and client services to bring creative concepts to life.
Act as a therapy area expert across one or two disease areas, contributing to client and thought-leader discussions.
Support new business proposals and occasional onsite delivery at industry events.
Serve as a brand guardian for both client and agency work.
About You
Minimum 1 years' experience as a Medical Writer in a promotional medical communications setting.
Degree or postgraduate qualification in life sciences (or related field).
Strong ability to balance scientific accuracy with creative storytelling.
Track record of writing across a variety of channels and formats in healthcare communications.
Excellent communication, organisation, and time-management skills; adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
Confident building effective relationships with colleagues, clients, and thought leaders.
