The University Equestrian Centre – Fosse Hill Farm, Cirencester

Pay is £12.71 per hour for those aged 21 and over, or £10.85 per hour for those aged 20 and under, plus 12.07% holiday pay.

Contract: casual

Hours – up to 25 hours per week

They are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Casual Yard Grooms to join their friendly team at the University Equestrian Centre. This is a flexible casual role offering up to 25 hours per week on a rota basis, making it ideal for students looking to gain hands-on equine experience alongside their studies.

If you enjoy working with horses and being part of a busy equestrian environment, this could be a great opportunity for you. You will support the day-to-day running of the yard, including horse care, stable management and maintaining high standards across the site. You will also work closely with staff, students and clients as part of a welcoming and professional team.

They are looking for candidates with confident horse handling skills, a practical and hardworking approach, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Previous equine experience is essential, while BHS qualifications or machinery experience would be an advantage. Training can be provided where needed.
