Role:
WeDo is partnering with a growing SaaS business in the insurance space that is entering a major phase of investment and product evolution.
With backing from a global parent group, the company is modernising its core platforms and expanding its product offering. This includes the redevelopment of a flagship Policy Administration System and continued innovation of an established, market-leading underwriting platform used by high-profile brokers and insurers.
This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative team at a genuine inflection point, where you will play a key role in shaping how the platform integrates with third-party services and evolves over the coming years.
Responsibilities:
Working as a Full-Stack Developer, you will:
• Build and maintain integrations with third-party services such as payment gateways and external APIs
• Contribute to the ongoing development of a modern Policy Administration System and underwriting platform
• Work across both backend and frontend components, with a strong focus on delivering end-to-end integration solutions
• Develop backend services using C# and .NET
• Support frontend functionality using JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Collaborate closely with the Technical Director and wider engineering team
• Help maintain and improve existing integrations while contributing to new feature development
Required Skills:
• Strong experience with C# and .NET (.NET Core / Framework)
• Experience building or integrating REST APIs and third-party services
• Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases
• Experience with JavaScript (jQuery beneficial) and front-end fundamentals (HTML/CSS)
• Familiarity with AWS (EC2, RDS, S3) and Azure DevOps
• Understanding of clean code, OOP principles and debugging practices
• Comfortable working across both backend and frontend when required
