The Role
We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Insurance & Support Officer to join our Asset Management team.
In this varied role, you will be responsible for administering our insurance portfolio, ensuring claims are managed efficiently and supporting wider operational functions including fleet and utilities administration.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the insurance portfolio, including submitting and progressing claims through to settlement
Liaise with loss adjusters, contractors, and customers to ensure claims are handled effectively
Co-ordinate the annual insurance renewal process and assist with tendering activities
Maintain accurate records and documentation relating to insurance and asset management
Administer the organisation’s vehicle fleet and fuel card processes
Manage gas and electricity reports from our utility broker and ensure timely payments
Support procurement activities, including evaluating tenders and managing quotes
Process invoices and ensure financial records are maintained accurately
Provide administrative support to the Asset Management team
About You
We are looking for someone who is highly organised, numerate and able to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
You will have:
Experience in office administration and record keeping
Experience managing an organisation’s insurance portfolio
Strong numerical, organisational and spreadsheet skills
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
The ability to work independently and collaboratively
A commitment to delivering excellent service and supporting organisational values
