Bookings Team Executive
Full‑time fixed‑term role (26th August – 27th November) at locations in Edinburgh, Belfast, Cardiff, Salford or London. The position operates in a hybrid pattern, combining home working with attendance at the local or national office.
Role Summary
The Bookings Team Executive is the first point of contact for the Into Film Festival, handling enquiries, processing bookings and liaising with educators, cinemas and the festival team. The role involves inbound and outbound communication, data entry, incident log maintenance and support for the festival’s smooth operation.
Main Responsibilities
- Answer calls and emails, process bookings and solve problems for festival enquiries.
- Reach out proactively via email and phone to attract and sign up new educators and bookers.
- Work with the festival team to resolve all enquiries and issues.
- Update and upload booking information onto the festival website (Aerian).
- Maintain the daily incident log in Excel, tracking all cinema‑related enquiries and issues.
- Coordinate with exhibitors as required and directed.
- Provide general support for all aspects of the festival.
General Responsibilities
- Commit to quality in all dealings with teachers, children, young people, industry partners, funders, supporters, parents, and members of the public.
- Actively participate in living Into Film’s EEDI values and ethos.
- Contribute to long‑term planning to align growth with demand and resources.
- Assist with regular monitoring and evaluation of Into Film’s work.
Person Specification
Minimum Requirements- Experience in a customer service role.
- Excellent communication skills and persuasive presentation of ideas.
- Strong organisational ability.
- Basic Excel or equivalent skills.
- Ability to work under pressure with a high volume of public enquiries.
- Experience using Microsoft Teams.
- Experience using CRM systems.
- Experience communicating with teachers or schools.
- Understanding of the education sector.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Passion for and knowledge of film.
