Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 08:30 -16:00

As our business continues to grow, we are looking to strengthen our production team with the addition of an Applicator Operator at our Kilmarnock facility.


Role Overview


The Applicator Operator is responsible for operating label applicator equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and productivity. The role requires adherence to established processes and procedures, ensuring all products meet customer specifications and company quality standards.

Full training will be provided on applicator operations and associated procedures.


Roles & Responsibilities


  • Operate label applicator equipment in accordance with company procedures and safety standards.
  • Ensure products are processed accurately and efficiently to meet production targets and customer requirements.
  • Follow all operating instructions, work procedures and quality standards.
  • Conduct routine checks to ensure equipment is functioning correctly and report any issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate production records where required.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet operational deadlines and business objectives.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
  • Adhere to all company Health & Safety policies and procedures.
  • Undertake overtime where required to support business needs.


Required Skills & Experience


  • Minimum of 6 months' experience operating machinery or equipment within a manufacturing, production or factory environment.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and retain information relating to processes and procedures.
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Reliable, organised and able to work to deadlines.
  • Flexible approach to working hours and overtime requirements.
  • Ability to travel reliably to the Kilmarnock site
  • Previous experience working within a quality-controlled manufacturing environment.
  • Experience following standard operating procedures and quality processes. xwzovoh
