What you will do:
- Act as the OFSTED-registered Responsible Individual, ensuring full compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.
- Provide strategic leadership aimed at promoting excellence in safeguarding, care delivery, and regulatory adherence.
- Support, monitor, and challenge Registered Managers and operational teams, ensuring they achieve high standards and outstanding outcomes for children and young people.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and readiness for OFSTED inspections across all homes.
- Supervise and develop leadership capabilities of home managers.
- Oversee safeguarding protocols and quality assurance measures throughout the services.
- Maintain high standards of care, safety, and governance across all children's homes.
Requirements for this role:
- Proven experience in a multi-site leadership role with travel between various children's homes and attendance at external meetings.
- Participation in the senior leadership on-call rota.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent.
- QCF Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification.
- Experience as a Registered Manager with eligibility for Responsible Individual registration with Ofsted.
- Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) training, or a willingness to complete it.
