Electrician - Heathrow Airport Heathrow Airport £62,000-£64,500 + Excellent Benefits Permanent | Long-Term Opportunity The Opportunity We are recruiting on behalf of a leading Tier 1 M&E contractor with a long-standing reputation for delivering complex, high-profile projects across the UK. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work at Heathrow Airport, our client is looking to appoint experienced Electricians to join their delivery team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work within one of the UK's most prestigious and secure environments, working on a variety of electrical installation, maintenance, and infrastructure upgrade projects. The Role As an Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical installation and upgrade works across Heathrow Airport, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The role will involve working within a live operational airport environment, supporting planned maintenance, refurbishment, and new installation works. Key Responsibilities Carry out electrical installation works in accordance with project specifications Install containment, cabling, lighting, power and associated electrical systems Read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation Carry out planned maintenance and upgrade works Ensure all works comply with current regulations and site procedures Work safely within a live airport environment Complete quality checks and testing where required Work closely with Supervisors, Project Managers and other trades to ensure programme delivery Requirements Proven experience as an Electrician within commercial, industrial or building services environments NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent electrical qualifications ECS/JIB Gold Card preferred Strong understanding of electrical installation practices and current regulations Ability to obtain Heathrow Airside Security Clearance Flexible approach to working shifts, including days and nights where required Excellent attitude towards health and safety What's on Offer £62,000-£64,500 basic salary £50 per week travel allowance 8% pension contribution 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays Enhanced sick pay PPE and full uniform provided Long-term, permanent opportunity with a leading Tier 1 M&E contractor Excellent training, development, and career progression opportunities Apply If you're an experienced Electrician looking for a long-term opportunity at Heathrow Airport with one of the UK's leading M&E contractors, we'd love to hear from you.
