HGV CLASS 2 DRIVER People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Warrington, Cheshire .

This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a LGV Class 2 Driver , Category C Driver or Truck Driver .

Shifts: Working five days out of seven (including some weekend working) • AM: 01:00 – 04:00 start times • PM: 14:00 – 18:00 start times Rates of Pay: • £17.13 per hour (standard 48 hours) • £25.70 per hour (overtime after 48 hours) • Minimum of twelve hours paid per shift and all breaks fully paid Benefits: • Ongoing position with a leading company in the industry • Thorough first-day assessment and two weeks of training alongside experienced staff • Competitive rates of pay Day-to-Day Duties: • Working rotating shifts • Driving Category C vehicles safely and efficiently • Completing 6–7 product deliveries to various stores across the UK daily • Ensuring all loads are maintained at the correct temperatures throughout the journey • Safely unloading cages using a tail lift and delivering them into stores • Taking photos to document successful deliveries • Addressing any customer concerns and reporting them promptly to your line manager Essential Skills: • At least six months of experience as a Class 2 driver • Valid UK Category C Driving Licence • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph • No more than six points for minor offences (no DR10, DG10, IN10, or TT99) • No major endorsements • Strong customer service skills Desirable Experience: • Familiarity with cage and temperature-controlled deliveries is a plus Training Provided: • First-day assessment followed by two weeks of training alongside a permanent staff member • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout Apply Today – Don't Miss Out!
