Associate or Senior Associate - Business Crime & Investigations (1 – 5 Years PQE) – London
Our client, a leading Legal 500 International Law Firm are seeking a highly ambitious and talented Associate Lawyer, to join their Business Crime team - at the forefront of high-stakes crime and investigations. This is an exceptional opportunity for a solicitor with between 1 and 5 years post-qualification experience to build a career handling complex, high-profile, and internationally significant cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising on a broad spectrum of business crime matters, including fraud, bribery and corruption, insider dealing, sanctions, and financial regulation issues.
- Supporting cross-border investigations, corporate probes, and international asset-tracing and tax matters, often working with regulators, governments, and global law enforcement agencies.
- Providing strategic, high-quality legal advice to clients ranging from multinational corporations and financial institutions to investors and government entities.
- Assisting senior lawyers on high-profile, complex disputes, including drafting submissions, negotiating settlements, and preparing cases for regulatory or criminal proceedings.
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified solicitor with experience in business crime, financial crime, or complex and international commercial litigation.
- Strong academic background with excellent understanding of regulatory and criminal law frameworks.
- Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and outstanding communication skills.
- Confident working independently while thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
- Commercially minded, proactive, and committed to delivering first-class client service.
