Electrical Supervisors & Electrical Engineers Description Our client is Europe’s only dedicated data centre delivery partner, offering full turnkey solutions from design through to construction and commissioning. We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor and also Electrical Engineer to join our project team in Blyth, United Kingdom. This is a site-based role responsible for overseeing electrical works, coordinating site activities, and ensuring delivery to the highest standards of safety, quality, and programme. Responsibilities (Electrical Supervisor): * Liaise and coordinate site activities alongside other trades and subcontractors * Prepare and manage two-week look-ahead schedules in line with the project programme * Attend daily and weekly site meetings * Manage labour resources to ensure alignment with programme requirements * Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure efficient delivery of works * Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship on site * Ensure all materials and plant delivered to site meet agreed specifications and are stored safely * Verify subcontractor plant and access equipment is certified and fit for use * Identify and notify project management of variations and delays Requirements (Electrical Supervisor) * Relevant Electrical trade qualification * Proven experience in a similar supervisory role within an M&E contracting environment * Data centre experience is advantageous * Strong organisational, communication, and time management skills * Proficiency in MS Word and Excel Requirements (Electrical Engineer) • Support the coordination and delivery of Electrical works across the project lifecycle • Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and technical submittals • Assist with the implementation of site QA/QC processes and ensure works are completed to required standards • Coordinate with subcontractors, supervisors, and the wider project team on daily electrical site activities • Monitor site progress and report on programme status to senior engineers and management • Ensure all electrical documentation, including technical submittals and safety documentation, is maintained and up to date • Attend Site Meetings, Engineering Reviews, and Planning Meetings • Liaise with the design team to request and track construction information (RFIs) • Assist with installation checks, inspections, and verification of electrical systems on site • Support commercial management by tracking variations and assisting with progress claims • Identify and assist in resolving technical, design, and coordination issues • Assist with the management and close-out of electrical snagging items Skills & Qualifications (Electrical Engineer) • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or similar discipline • Minimum 3+ years’ experience within the electrical construction sector • Experience working on electrical systems such as power distribution, lighting, and associated services • Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and site practices • Strong organisational and communication skills • Ability to work collaboratively within a project team and coordinate with subcontractors • Strong technical understanding of electrical systems and installation methodologies • Experience in data centre, industrial, or mission-critical projects is advantageous Benefits * Opportunity to work for a market leader in the Data centre industry * Working on large scale data centre projects * Collaborative team working environments * Career progression and development supported * Competitive salary packages
