Job Title: Teaching Assistant (TA) Location: Worcester Salary: £95 - £100 per day Contract Type: Full-Time, Immediate Start Position Type: Temporary with potential to go permanent Job Description: We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a welcoming primary school in Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity to support the learning and development of students across a variety of age groups and make a real difference in their education. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to provide tailored support for individual students or small groups. The role is available for an immediate start and offers a competitive daily rate of £95 to £100, depending on experience and qualifications. Key Responsibilities: Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons. Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, helping them to stay on track and achieve their learning goals. Support students with additional learning needs, including those with SEN. Help with classroom management and ensure a positive learning environment. Assist with the preparation of resources and materials for lessons. Provide feedback to the teacher on student progress and areas for development. Help supervise students during break times and other activities. Requirements: Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar support role within a school setting (preferably). A positive, proactive attitude and a passion for working with children. Good communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and staff. A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
