Were recruiting for an experienced CNC Operator or CNC Machinist to join an established precision engineering business based in Bury.
Specialising in large, complex and low-volume components, our client provides high-quality CNC machining solutions to customers across a variety of demanding industries.
The Role Youll be responsible for safely and efficiently operating CNC machinery, ensuring components are manufactured accurately and to the required quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
Setting and operating CNC milling or turning machinery
Producing precision components from engineering drawings
Carrying out tooling changes and machine adjustments
Checking components using appropriate measuring equipment
Working to tight tolerances and customer specifications
Monitoring machining operations and identifying potential issues
Completing production and quality documentation
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working area
About You The successful candidate will ideally have:
Experience as a CNC Operator, CNC Machinist, CNC Miller or CNC Turner
A background in precision engineering, subcontract machining or manufacturing
The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Knowledge of CNC machine setting, tooling and machining processes
Experience using measuring and inspection equipment
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
The ability to work independently and as part of a skilled team
Experience machining large, complex or low-volume components would be particularly advantageous. xwzovoh
