We are currently looking for a Pharmaceutical Process Engineer to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Oxford area. As the Senior Process Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the development of a robust, scalable manufacturing process. You will also support external engineering and manufacturing contractors to ensure delivery to specification and within both budget and timelines. Additionally, you will provide technical review and input into manufacturing processes and/or engineering designs for equipment and supervise the installation and qualification of an aseptic manufacturing line.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Pharmaceutical Process Engineer will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Provide technical input into the design of GMP manufacturing processes and new equipment suitable for use in sterile operations.
2. Lead the commissioning and qualification of GMP equipment for clinical use.
3. Support technology transfer and process validation.
4. Design of manufacturing processes and equipment.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Senior Pharmaceutical Process Engineer, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Degree or higher in Engineering field.
2. Extensive industry experience in design experience in manufacturing processes and equipment, pharmaceutical engineering as well as technical drawings, design and CAD experience.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with GMP equipment qualification and process development/industrialisation.
