Senior UX Designer (Contract)

We're looking for a UI/UX contractor. London-based, 2–3 months.

The platform is powerful and sophisticated. The work our customers do is complex and regulated, and we have built for that depth. We have a focused sprint to find the UX friction and fix what matters most.

Your job is to find that friction - with evidence - and to help us improve it. You will research how people actually use the product, assess it against usability heuristics, information architecture principles and WCAG 2.2 AA, and turn the findings into a ranked set of changes. Then you implement them together, fast. Working closely with our lead design engineer.

You bring: usability research on complex software, end-to-end research ownership, WCAG 2.2 AA and information architecture fluency, and recommendations that stand up without you in the room. AI fluency is a must; Claude experience a plus.

Enterprise, regulated or workflow product experience is a strong plus. So is experience designing for AI agents, approval gates and human review steps.

Nobody has settled what good looks like for a product where people and AI agents share the work. You will help decide it here, working closely with our team.
