The Role As an Assistant Estimator, you will support the estimating team across a wide range of construction projects, gaining hands-on experience in: Assisting with preparation of cost estimates and tender submissions Reviewing drawings, specifications and project documents Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers for pricing Supporting take-offs and measurement exercises Helping to build accurate and competitive tenders Working closely with experienced estimators and the wider project team Youll gain exposure to a diverse project portfolio including heritage restorations, local authority works, and high-end residential builds .

Training & Development This role is designed as a long-term career pathway: Direct mentorship from two experienced Senior Estimators Structured, hands-on training over a 35 year period Full exposure to the estimating function from enquiry to tender submission Clear progression route to leading the estimating department within 5 years This is an opportunity to genuinely grow into a leadership role , not just remain in a support position.
