Management Accountant

Job Description Management Accountant /n Join an expanding US law firm in a broad, high-visibility Management Accountant role with an international remit. You’ll take ownership of the London month-end close and general ledger, while supporting commercial reporting, budgeting and forecasting and partnering with teams across Frankfurt and Brussels on tax, accounting and client account matters. /n What’s On Offer: /n /n - Salary to £75,000 /n - Generous employee benefits /n - Hybrid working (3 days office / 2 days remote) /n - City of London / Liverpool Street /n /n Management Accountant – What You’ll Be Doing: /n /n - Lead the London month-end close and maintain accurate general ledger records /n - Complete balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding items /n - Prepare financial reporting, including P&L, balance sheet and variance analysis /n - Support budgeting, forecasting, cash management and cost centre reporting /n - Coordinate tax compliance and accounting activities for the Frankfurt and Brussels offices /n - Coordinate statutory accounts, audits and external adviser relationships across the relevant offices /n - Manage intercompany accounting and cost allocations between London, Frankfurt and Brussels /n - Ensure compliance with SRA Accounts Rules and firm policies relating to client money /n - Oversee client account reconciliations, transfers and residual balances, escalating exceptions as required /n - Support client accounting audits, controls and process improvements /n /n Management Accountant – What We’re Looking For: /n /n - Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) /n - Proven general ledger and month-end close experience gained within a law firm /n - Strong management accounting skills, including reporting, variance analysis and financial insight /n - High attention to detail with a strong focus on controls and reconciliations /n - Advanced Excel skills, including pivots, lookups and basic modelling, with experience using finance systems/ERPs /n
