The Role & About the Client
ITS Building People are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded groundwork's contractor. Known for delivering exceptional drainage and piping into the clean & Wastewater industry in the Southeast & Home Counties, this company has built a strong reputation for quality, attention to detail, and collaborative project delivery.
They are seeking a Project Manager with a minimum of 10 years’ experience to take a leading operational role across multiple projects.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a close-knit, professional team delivering life changing infrastructure projects within the water industry on the new amp 8 schemes with high levels of design and specification, duration on contracts will be 5 years.
Key Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
• Managing several key and operational projects on Thames Water & Southern Water.
• Preparing and reviewing contracts, budgets, NEC, and other associated documentation.
• Monitoring project costs, reporting variations, and RAMS
• Liaising with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and the internal delivery team
• Working under NEC contracts and Design & Build procurement routes
• Overseeing AMP 8 Contracts values £500 K - £15 Million
• Supporting project teams to ensure commercial and financial success
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in Project Management of Waste & Clean water projects.
• Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts.
• Proven experience delivering deep drainage, water treatment, clean water, wastewater, tanks, pump stations and groundwork's.
• Experience in the water sector is essential for this role as well as a background in delivering detailed engineering services, either in collaboration with contractors or through managing complex infrastructure projects. A professional, collaborative approach and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
• You should hold a degree in engineering, environmental science, project management, or a related discipline, and have a strong understanding of project management principles, tools, and methodologies.
• EUSR Water Hygiene ticket, SMSTS, 1st Aid, CSCS card and Confined Spaces certification.
