Accountant - Credit Funds

Accountant – Credit Funds Location: London (Full-Time Onsite) Contract Length: 18 Months   Overview We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join a leading financial services firm based in London. This role is suited to an individual with strong fund accounting experience, particularly across Credit Funds and/or General Funds, who can operate effectively in a fast-paced investment environment.   Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day accounting and reporting activities across a portfolio of credit and/or GP funds. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Support fund close processes, including reconciliations, accruals, and journal postings. Coordinate with fund administrators, auditors, and external service providers. Assist with investor reporting and regulatory reporting requirements. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal controls. Support ad hoc finance projects and process improvement initiatives.  Requirements Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). Proven experience within Financial Services, ideally in asset management, private credit, or alternative investments. Strong exposure to Credit Funds and/or General Funds. Experience preparing fund financial statements and working closely with fund administrators. Strong knowledge of Excel and financial reporting processes. Excellent attention to detail and stakeholder management skills.  What's on Offer 18-month contract with a well-established financial services organisation.
