Senior Refrigeration Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior CO₂ Refrigeration Engineer to join a growing and well-established refrigeration business covering the South East region. This role offers the chance to work on a varied portfolio of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems, supporting key customers while delivering high standards of service, maintenance, fault finding and repairs. The successful candidate will be a customer-focused engineer with strong technical knowledge and proven experience working on CO₂ refrigeration systems. * Location: South East England (looking for Engineers located anywhere along the M40 corridor) * Salary: OTE Earnings £60,500 * Hours: Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week * Paid Door-to-Door Travel * Call-Out: 1 in 4 rota (£150 per call-out) * Overtime Paid After 40 Hours * Permanent Position Key Responsibilities * Service, maintain and repair commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems * Carry out fault finding, diagnostics and reactive breakdown repairs * Assist with the commissioning and handover of new installations * Support maintenance of equipment under warranty * Build and maintain strong customer relationships * Complete service reports and associated documentation accurately * Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety and company procedures * Support the wider engineering team as required Requirements * F-Gas Certification * NVQ Level 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (or equivalent) * Proven hands-on CO₂ refrigeration experience * Previous experience within the commercial refrigeration industry * Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Package & Benefits * £60,500 OTE Earnings * Paid door-to-door travel * Overtime paid after 40 hours * Company van (personal use option available) * Up to 36 days annual leave (with Holiday buy-back scheme) * Private healthcare scheme * Enhanced pension contributions * Annual bonus potential * £150 call-out allowance This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CO₂ Refrigeration Engineer looking to join a business that values its engineers, offers long-term career development, and provides a strong package alongside varied and technically challenging work.
