Purchase Ledger Assistant

My client has asked me to find a Purchase Ledger Assistant for their growing construction business. After a period of consolidation they are now at a turnover of more than £100 m across the group and need to strengthen their finance team. This is an office based opportunity and is on a full-time, 5 day per week basis. My client's office is near Uxbridge- Middlesex. Key roles and responsibilities: * Entering purchase invoices across their group of companies * Matching purchase invoices to purchase orders and good receipts notes where applicable * Liaising with the buying department on purchase order queries * Contacting both site staff and external suppliers to raise and manage invoice queries where necessary * Completion of supplier statement reconciliations on a monthly basis * Ad-hoc offices duties to include answering calls, placing and receipting stationary and office supplier orders Requirements: * Some previous experience required, preferably within the construction industry * Previous experience with 4PS or Microsoft Business Central is preferred but not essential * Good communication skills and attention to detail * Have a flexible approach to work * Must be self motivated and able to work to deadlines The salary on offer is between £33-35k per year with room for negotiation based on relevant experience.
