Class 2 Driver

Our client is looking for a Permanent Class 2 Driver/Drayman Why This Role Matters You’ll be a valued and respected member of a close-knit, hard-working team. You’ll play a key part in the customer experience, engaging with publicans, restaurateurs. What This Role Involves As a Drayman, you’ll play a key role in delivering our products and our promise to customers. This is a physical, customer-facing role that goes beyond driving, it’s about service, teamwork, and pride. Prepare your vehicle each morning with basic checks and safe loading of goods. Review delivery notes and route plans to ensure efficient and accurate drops. Deliver kegs, cases, and bottles to a wide range of hospitality venues with professionalism and care. Engage confidently with customers, communicate any delivery issues, and fulfil special requests where needed. Complete all paperwork, including delivery notes, returns, and collections. Return empty kegs, cases, and gas bottles safely and correctly. Uphold confidentiality and customer trust at all times. Follow all health & safety protocols, especially around manual handling and cellar work. Assist in the warehouse when required and maintain a smart, presentable appearance in your DAYLA uniform.
