About the role

Quality Assurance Manager Bespoke Joinery / Interiors

We are working with a well-established specialist joinery and interiors contractor looking to appoint an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to support projects from design through manufacture and installation.

The role will act as a key link between the design team, workshop and site teams, ensuring drawings, materials and manufactured joinery are delivered to the required quality and programme.


Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate projects between design, workshop and site teams.

  • Produce and maintain project schedules and programmes.

  • Review CAD drawings and joinery details prior to issue for construction.

  • Attend CAD/design kick-off meetings and review buildability, materials, access and installation requirements.

  • Coordinate site surveys with site teams and subcontractors.

  • Manage samples, approvals and associated documentation.

  • Attend design and subcontractor meetings and produce minutes/actions.

  • Monitor drawing progress and ensure information is issued in line with programme.

  • Carry out quality control inspections throughout the manufacturing process, including pre-finishing and post-finishing checks.

  • Coordinate CAD package handovers to workshops and specialist subcontractors.

  • Monitor subcontractor manufacturing programmes and progress.

  • Produce regular project progress reports.

  • Manage the handover of construction drawings to site teams.

  • Coordinate workshop collections and site deliveries.

  • Identify variations and issue information to the commercial/QS team.

  • Review design workload and highlight requirements for additional CAD/design resource.


The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have experience within high-end bespoke joinery, architectural joinery, or specialist interiors.


You should have:

  • Strong understanding of bespoke joinery manufacturing and installation.

  • Ability to read and review detailed CAD/joinery drawings.

  • Experience coordinating between design, production and site teams.

  • Strong quality control and attention to detail.

  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes, materials and finishes.

  • Strong organisational and project coordination skills.

  • Experience working with subcontractors, designers and site teams.
