This position offers a varied workload across a broad range of development and infrastructure projects, with involvement in both technical delivery and team leadership.This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded engineer looking to progress their career within a business that values technical excellence, staff development, and client relationship management.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the delivery of a diverse portfolio of civil engineering projects across varying scales and sectors.Manage and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, supporting their professional development.Take responsibility for key client accounts and maintain strong client relationships.Contribute to business growth through effective project delivery and client management.Monitor and achieve team and project KPIs.Support Directors with strategic planning, resource management, and business development initiatives.Provide technical oversight and quality assurance across project outputs.RequirementsSignificant UK civil engineering design experience within a consultancy environment.Experience delivering a variety of projects with differing scales, complexity, and sectors.Proven management experience, including team leadership, staff development, and performance management.Strong client-facing skills with experience managing key accounts.Chartered Engineer status preferred:CEng MICE, CMIHT, or equivalent.Strong commercial awareness and understanding of project performance metrics.Technical SkillsAutodesk Civil 3D.Autodesk InfoDrainage (Inflow).Causeway Flow.Autodesk AutoCAD (advanced/expert level).Microsoft Outlook.Mail Manager.Ideal BackgroundCandidates should have remained actively involved in civil engineering design and project delivery.
