Responsibilities :
The firm is looking to recruit a bookkeeper to provide core support to the practice. The role will focus primarily on bookkeeping, payroll and VAT work across a varied portfolio of SME clients. There is also scope, depending on experience, to get involved in accounts preparation and some tax-related work in the future.
Day-to-day bookkeeping for a portfolio of SME clients
Processing sales and purchase ledgers
Bank reconciliations
Preparing and submitting VAT returns
Processing payroll for clients
Supporting the wider team where required
Potential involvement in accounts and tax work (longer-term)
Software Used:
The firm works with a range of modern accounting software, including:
Sage
Xero
QuickBooks
