We specialise in complex Trust and Probate matters, setting us apart from other high street firms, making us the go to firm in the industry for Trust related sales and purchases. Were fully regulated by the CLC and a key driver in the acquisition of Northwood Banks by the HAIG Legal Group was to ensure a strong future and continued growth for the company, including Nationwide expansion.
We are now looking for a Head of Conveyancing to join Northwood Banks to lead and develop this function.
Your Job
Our Head of Conveyancing will have overall responsibility for a small team dealing with residential conveyancing matters. The team specialise in probate and trust sales along with other trust transactions which you will support with. You will also be responsible for a small caseload of complex matters.
You will be instrumental in driving the team forwards to deliver optimum results as well as having the opportunity to implement, develop and review processes in the department. You will provide training to junior members of the team and support all team members with regular training in line with best practice and legislation changes. xwzovoh
Key Duties:
Review current processes and implement new ones
Management of a small team
Continuous training in line with best practice and legislation
Providing key management information to the Board of Directors
Ownership of the conveyancing function
Job Requirements
Qualified solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer with 5 years PQE
Previous management or supervisory experience (Desirable)
Drive, determination and a genuine desire to grow the department
Comfortable taking ownership and designing processes
