About the Company
With a turnover exceeding £40 million, we are a well-established and growing drylining fit-out and refurbishment contractor, delivering high-quality projects across the UK. Due to continued expansion, we are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team and support the successful delivery of multiple projects.

The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor with 15 years experience in drylining to develop their career within a fast-paced and supportive environment. You will work closely with senior team members while gaining exposure to the full commercial lifecycle of projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the management and coordination of a team of Surveyors
  • Assist with monthly cost reporting and profit reviews to track project performance
  • Prepare and contribute to monthly valuations (client-side and supply chain)
  • Assist in the preparation of pre-tender profit plans and cashflow forecasts
  • Price drylining packages and support procurement of subcontractors
  • Help manage subcontractor packages in line with contract terms and conditions
  • Assist in the agreement of final accounts (upstream and downstream)
  • Support the preparation of main contract documentation, collateral warranties, and consultant appointments
  • Ensure projects remain aligned with cost plans and maintain close liaison with client-side Quantity Surveyors
  • Contribute to value engineering initiatives
  • Support final account settlement and client aftercare

Requirements

  • 15 years experience working for a drylining contractor (essential)
  • Strong commercial xwzovoh awareness and understanding of construction contracts
  • Good numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work within deadlines
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Must be able to travel to Hertfordshire
  • Available immediately or within a one-month notice period
