Job Title: Recovery Outreach Practitioner Location: Kingston Contract: Temporary – 3 Months Initially (With Likely Extension) Hours: Monday – Friday 9:00AM – 5:00PM Pay Rate: £23 P/H Umbrella Ltd (£20.59 P/H PAYE Inclusive/£18.37 P/H PAYE Exclusive)   Organisational Values Care • Be Human • Do the Right Thing   The Opportunity as a Recovery Outreach Practitioner Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a respected and well-established charity organisation delivering specialist substance misuse and homelessness support services across the community. The organisation is dedicated to supporting vulnerable individuals through compassionate, recovery-focused interventions and outreach support.   We are seeking an experienced Recovery Outreach Practitioner to support individuals experiencing substance misuse issues alongside homelessness or rough sleeping. The role will involve assertive street outreach, engagement and re-engagement work, deliver interventions and support individuals into treatment and recovery services.   The successful candidate will have experience working within substance misuse services and confidence supporting individuals with complex and multiple needs in community and street-based settings.    Key Responsibilities as a Recovery Outreach Practitioner: Conducting street outreach to engage rough sleepers and vulnerable adults Managing a small but complex caseload of service users Completing assessments, risk assessments and recovery plans Delivering one-to-one psychosocial interventions and harm reduction support Supporting access to treatment, housing, healthcare and recovery services Delivering needle exchange, naloxone and overdose prevention interventions Working collaboratively with housing teams, local authorities and partner agencies Maintaining accurate and timely case management records Promoting safeguarding and responding appropriately to risk concernsEssential Requirements as a Recovery Outreach Practitioner: Minimum 2 years’ experience within substance misuse services Experience working with homeless, rough sleeping or socially excluded individuals Strong understanding of safeguarding and risk management practices Experience delivering outreach, engagement and recovery interventions Ability to manage complex caseloads and maintain accurate case records Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Good IT skills including case management systems NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards) Enhanced Adults & Children DBS (within 12 months or registered on Update Service) Valid Right to Work documentation Satisfactory employment referencesWhy Work with Service Care Solutions as a Recovery Outreach Practitioner: Four weekly payroll runs Competitive pay rates £250 training allowance Dedicated specialist substance misuse consultant Single point of contact throughout your placement Referral bonus schemes available PAYE and Ltd payment options Access to nationwide substance misuse opportunities Free fast-track DBS processing availableHow to Apply as a Recovery Outreach Practitioner: If you are interested in this opportunity and meet the above requirements, please apply today or contact the Substance Misuse Division at Service Care Solutions for further information.
