The role of the HSE Manager – Structural Steelwork will involve:
HSE Manager position responsible for implementing the health, safety and environmental programs for heavy & light steelwork projects
Lead, develop and maintain HSE management systems in line with relevant legislation, industry standards and company procedures, ensuring ongoing compliance and audit readiness
Ensure products consistently meet required specifications, regulatory standards, and customer expectations
Drive health and safety performance through effective risk management, incident investigation, and implementation of safe working practices
Plan and oversee internal and external audits, ensuring non-conformances are addressed with robust corrective actions
Support environmental and sustainability, including waste reduction, energy efficiency and continual improvement
Monitor performance metrics, identify improvement opportunities and report outcomes to senior management
Oversee projects typically up to £10m in value
The ideal applicant will be a HSE Manager – Structural Steelwork with:
Must have experience in Health and Safety or have a background from an equivalent position (HSE Manager, SHEQ Manager Health & Safety Manager Etc.)
Must have experience within structural steelwork or related sectors (industrial doors, temporary buildings, SFS, architectural metal, steelwork, mezzanine flooring, modular buildings
Excellent communication xwzovoh skills both written and verbal
Must be able to hit the ground running
IT literate
