Assembly Technician
Location: Amesbury
Working Pattern:
Monday - Thursday: 8:30am - 5:00pm
Friday: 8:30am - 1:30pm
Join Our Team as an Assembly Technician
Our client, a well-established organisation within the engineering sector, is seeking a skilled and motivated Assembly Technician to join their busy manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in precision, and wants to be part of a quality-driven environment.
The Role
As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for the assembly and testing of mechanical components, ensuring products are built accurately and efficiently to the required standards. Key responsibilities include:
Assembling parts and components using detailed drawings and build instructions
Testing sub-assemblies and completed products in line with defined procedures
Inspecting components for faults or defects and reporting any discrepancies
Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised assembly area
Supporting production schedules while maintaining consistent build quality
About You
To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:
Strong fault-finding abilities and the capability to follow equipment instructions
Good manual dexterity and excellent attention to detail
Previous assembly experience and a basic understanding of mechanical components (advantageous but not essential)
A proactive attitude and a commitment to quality and safety
