Press Brake Setter Operator

CareerMakers Recruitment are looking for a Press Brake Operator to join our busy client in Lytham (FY8). The overall purpose of the role is to work individually and on occasions as part of a team to operate a range of machinery to produce a variety of metal materials with manual and automated equipment, to a high quality standard meeting hourly production targets. Duties: * Maintaining high quality standards at all times for standard and bespoke products * Maintaining H&S standards following instructions and wearing of appropriate PPE * Proactive communication with supervisors, managers and Quality Control regarding production, quality and H&S issues. * Maintaining a clean and tidy work area Experience: * Previous experience of Trumpf machines * Previous experience of using measuring equipment * Practical awareness of lean manufacturing and understanding of 5S activities * Understanding of Engineering drawings * Previous experience of working in engineering sheet metal production, setting and operating CNC press-brakes * Understanding of basic IT * Regular quality checks * Following internal processes * Completing paperwork Working Hours: Days: Mon-Thurs, 7am - 4:30pm Nights: Mon - Thurs, 6pm - 6am Pay rate: £14 - £16 If you are interested in the role, and have the relevant experience please apply with your CV or give us a call on (phone number removed)
