Medical Receptionist/ Administrator

Job Description: * Medical Receptionist (EMIS Trained) – GP Practice * Gloucester * £14.25+ per hour (PAYE, inclusive of holiday pay) Part-time (with potential to increase hours) Temporary to Permanent Opportunity. We are currently working with a well-established and supportive GP practice in the Gloucester area who are seeking an experienced EMIS-trained Medical Receptionist to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to secure a long-term role within a busy and friendly primary care setting. Key Details: * Start date: ASAP * Initial working days: Tuesdays & Fridays, 8:00am – 6:30pm (1-hour unpaid break) * Future progression: Opportunity to add Mondays (8:00am – 6:30pm) once settled * Contract type: Temp to perm (transition expected within 6 weeks maximum) Requirements: * Essential: Previous experience using EMIS Web * Essential: Previous experience working as a Medical Receptionist within a GP Practice * Strong communication and organisational skills * Ability to work efficiently in a busy clinical environment About the Role: You will be working as part of a supportive reception team, handling patient enquiries, booking appointments, processing clinical admin tasks, and ensuring smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
