Project Manager – Fit Out & Refurbishment Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 + £500 per month car allowance + mileage Are you an experienced Project Manager looking for a role where you can take full ownership of projects from pre-construction through to completion? My client is a well-established fit-out and refurbishment contractor delivering high-quality projects across commercial offices, sports facilities, leisure environments and specialist refurbishment schemes. Due to continued growth and the departure of a longstanding Project Manager, they are looking to appoint an experienced individual who can bring a strong technical background, commercial awareness and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy, growing business where you'll play a key role in project delivery whilst working closely with senior leadership. The Role As Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing projects from cradle to grave, managing all aspects from pre-construction through to final handover. You will typically manage around 4 live projects at any one time, with values ranging from £30,000 to £2 million. Projects are predominantly based across Yorkshire, although the business is undertaking an increasing number of national schemes, meaning occasional stays away from home will be required. Key Responsibilities Manage projects from pre-construction through to completion Develop project programmes and delivery strategies Coordinate clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers Manage project budgets and monitor financial performance Lead client meetings and maintain strong stakeholder relationships Oversee procurement and subcontractor management Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget Conduct regular site visits and project reviews Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies Produce progress reports for senior management and clients Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout delivery Support planning, programming and pre-construction activities Work closely with Directors to ensure successful project outcomes About You Proven experience as a Project Manager within fit-out, refurbishment or interior construction projects Office fit-out experience would be advantageous, although broader fit-out and refurbishment experience is preferred Experience delivering projects from pre-construction through to completion Comfortable managing multiple live projects simultaneously Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills Experience dealing with client-side teams, consultants and agents Strong commercial and contractual awareness A proactive, confident character capable of working autonomously SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS qualifications Full UK Driving Licence What's On Offer £55,000 - £65,000 basic salary £500 per month car allowance Mileage expenses paid Pension scheme 26 days holiday plus bank holidays Opportunity to work on a diverse range of office, sports and refurbishment projects Genuine career progression within a growing business Supportive and collaborative team environment Flexible working available where project commitments allow If you're an experienced Project Manager looking for a role with greater autonomy, project ownership and long-term career prospects, we'd like to hear from you
