Location: Reading Contract is flexible: Full-time / Part-time / Permanent / Maternity Cover Salary: MPS1-UPS3 + SEN Allowance Start Date: ASAP or September   🌟Are you looking for a rewarding teaching role where you can make a real difference to pupils with PMLD? 🌟   A specialist SEN school near Reading is seeking a committed and resilient PMLD Teacher to join its dedicated team. The school supports pupils with diagnosed profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD). Many pupils also have additional needs including autism (ASD), ADHD, sensory impairments, and physical difficulties.   The Role As a PMLD Teacher, you will lead a class of pupils with complex SEN needs, delivering highly differentiated and individualised teaching to support progress in learning, communication, independence, and emotional development. Key responsibilities include: Planning and delivering personalised SEN learning programmes Leading the classroom and managing SEN support staff effectively Tracking pupil progress against EHCP outcomes and SEN targets Contributing to annual reviews and written reports Creating a safe, structured, and positive learning environment Supporting pupils with communication, behaviour, and emotional regulation needs Working collaboratively with families and multi-disciplinary professionals Contributing to wider key stage and whole-school SEN development  The Ideal Candidate Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience working with pupils with SEN Strong understanding of differentiated and inclusive teaching approaches Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, families, and staff Calm, patient, and resilient approach Strong communication and teamwork skills Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing  We Offer Supportive leadership and experienced SEN staff team Ongoing professional development in SEN practice Small class sizes and high staffing ratios Collaborative and inclusive school environment Opportunities to develop specialist SEN teaching skills  * All appointments are subject to enhanced DBS checks and satisfactory references in line with safeguarding requirements. *Must have Right to Work   If you are interested, please contact Eleanor Chessun-Lawrence on (phone number removed) or (url removed)
