Electromechanical Technician (6-9 month PAYE Contract)

My client is a leading international electromechanical engineering technology business, specialising technology for the vastly growing electrification and transportation sectors.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, my client seeks 2 x Electromechanical Technicians to join their Test Function, working across two sites for a 6-9 month PAYE contract assignment.

The Electromechanical Technicians will be primarily responsible for:
- Product assembly and testing
- Test rig design, maintenance, calibration and fabrication
- Running Test programmes and report writing
- Assisting R&D Engineers with product analysis, FMEAs , design reviews etc.

- Continuous improvement activities
- General housekeeping Working across the Gateshead and Northumberland sites across the working week, my client seeks experience electromechanical engineering professionals with electrical and some mechanical expertise.

Additional selection requirements include: A good knowledge of electronic circuits Assembly, troubleshooting and testing of electronic products.

Use of electronic test equipment. xwzovoh

(Including DVMs, Oscilloscopes, Data Loggers) Soldering and rework techniques Computer literate.

(Microsoft Excel and Word) Driving license and own vehicle An HND or time-served in a relevant discipline
