I am currently representing a boutique Private Client Tax firm based in London currently seeking a director to join their team.

As a Private Client Tax Director, you will play a pivotal role in leading and expanding the private client practice. You will act as a trusted adviser to high‑net‑worth individuals, entrepreneurs, landed estates, non‑dom clients, and complex family structures. This is a senior leadership position with significant autonomy, client ownership, and the opportunity to progress to Partner for the right individual.

• Provide expert advice on a wide range of private client tax matters, including residence and domicile, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, trusts, estates, and international tax issues.

• Lead complex advisory projects

• Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, building long‑term, trusted relationships.

• Identify opportunities to add value and broaden the firm’s service offering.
• Win new clients and business for the firm
• Review and sign off high‑level tax planning, reports, and compliance work.
• Mentor and develop a growing team of tax professionals.

• Oversee workflow, resource planning, and quality control within the private client team

• CTA or STEP qualified (or equivalent), with extensive experience in private client tax.
• Strong technical expertise across UK personal tax, trusts, estates, and international matters.
• Proven track record of advising high‑net‑worth individuals and complex client structures

• Experience managing and developing teams at a senior level.

• Ambition to progress to Partner and contribute to the firm’s long‑term growth.
