- 5:00pm Salary: Negotiable About the Opportunity Are you currently studying Industrial Engineering, Business, Operations Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline? Willowbrook Foods is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated undergraduate or postgraduate student to gain valuable hands-on experience within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

This placement is ideal for a student undertaking a degree or Master's programme and may offer valuable real-world insight and support for research projects, dissertations, or academic studies focusing on operational excellence, process improvement, productivity, or lean manufacturing.

What You'll Be Doing Working closely with our production and management teams, you will gain exposure to: Production planning and operational processes Continuous improvement projects Process mapping and workflow analysis Lean manufacturing initiatives Data collection and performance reporting Identifying efficiency and productivity improvements Manufacturing equipment and production systems Supporting business improvement projects across the operation What We're Looking For Currently studying towards a Degree or Master's in Industrial Engineering, Business, Operations Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills Interest in manufacturing, operations, and continuous xwzovoh improvement Ability to work independently and as part of a team Full driving licence and access to a car, as our Killinchy location is not serviced by public transport What You'll Gain Practical experience within a successful food manufacturing business Exposure to real-world operational challenges and improvement projects Mentoring from experienced managers and operational leaders Valuable experience to support future career opportunities Potential dissertation and research project opportunities
