At Riney we are currently looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the team in East London. You will be an integral member of the commercial team supporting the Commercial Manager, Managing Quantity Surveyor and Senior Quantity Surveyor. Working on commercial projects from pre contract stage through to completion, you will ensure contract returns are maximised, alongside completing forecasting across all areas within your works.

As the Quantity Surveyor you will ideally have worked in a similar industry with experience of working on Highways, Infrastructure or Maintenance Projects in your career.

Main Responsibilities

Day to day responsibilities for the role of Quantity Surveyor will include (not exhaustive):

• Building strong relationships with internal and client counterparts as well as working with members of the team to attain your full potential
• Engaging and managing sub-contracts includingtenderenquiries, award and assessment of monthly payment applications
