Sales Engineer - Aftermarket & Proposals

Dumbarton | Permanent | Flexible working hours Talent Media is delighted to partner with an established engineering business to recruit a Sales Engineer for its Aftermarket & Proposals team. This role suits someone with a solid engineering background who enjoys working with customers and has technical sales experience. You’ll help turn customer enquiries into clear, accurate proposals, supporting opportunities from the initial request through to order. What you’ll be doing * Responding to new enquiries and requests for revised quotations. * Reviewing customer requirements and preparing quotes, proposals and tenders. * Following up proposals to help convert opportunities into orders. * Building strong customer relationships and identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts. * Understanding engineering drawings and working with internal teams to resolve technical and commercial queries. * Coordinating order handovers and sharing updates with colleagues across the business. * Identifying opportunities to recommend aftermarket parts, retrofits, upgrades, and other relevant solutions.
