About the role

As a Facilities Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring our office environments across our devolved locations are safe, efficient and fit for purpose. You will support a wide range of activities including health and safety compliance, facilities contractor management, and business continuity planning.

This role has a specific regional focus, covering our offices in Belfast, Cardiff and Edinburgh, as well as supporting our home workers. You will act as the primary point of contact for facilities-related matters across these locations, building strong relationships with colleagues, suppliers and landlords to deliver a high-quality, responsive service.

You will be expected to travel between office locations as required, ensuring a consistent and effective facilities service across all sites.

About the team

Working closely with the Facilities & Accommodation manager and colleagues across Digital Information, Technology and Facilities. The team is collaborative and committed to delivering excellent service. Were entering a period of transformation and this role will be central to shaping our future ways of working.

Who were looking for

This role would suit someone with strong technical and organisational skills, a proactive approach and a passion for delivering high-quality support services. You will be comfortable working across multiple locations and managing competing priorities.

  • Experience in facilities and accommodation support
  • Strong IT and budget management skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • A methodical approach to problem solving and planning
  • The ability to work independently and take ownership of a regional portfolio
  • Flexibility and resilience under pressure
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly between office locations

You will act as a visible and trusted facilities representative across devolved offices, ensuring colleagues receive consistent, high-quality support regardless of location.
