Quantity Surveyor

Job Summary

Our client is a specialist construction contractor delivering projects across partitioning, suspended ceilings, fit-outs, fire protection and general joinery. They are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to manage cost estimation, cost control and financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established construction business, supporting the successful delivery of projects while ensuring costs are controlled, budgets are maintained and commercial performance is maximised.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates, budgets and forecasts for construction projects.
• Monitor project expenditure and implement effective cost control measures.
• Review tender submissions and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive terms.
• Carry out site visits to assess progress, verify quantities and ensure works align with contractual specifications.
• Maintain accurate financial records and project cost documentation.
• Work closely with Project Managers, clients, consultants and other stakeholders to support commercial decision-making.
• Produce regular cost reports, forecasts and variance analysis for management.
