Manufacturing Engineer – Cookstown, Ireland

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will manage production processes in your assigned area, ensuring safety, optimal quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide essential technical support to production, ensuring processes are efficient, safe, and compliant with quality standards.
• Drive productivity improvements, cost reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Focus on process optimization, workplace ergonomics, new product introduction, and effective cross‑functional collaboration.
• Lead continuous improvement and structured problem‑solving activities within an automated manufacturing environment, including robotic welding and handling systems and complex hydraulic and pneumatic machinery.
• Support mechanical design and development of jigs and fixtures.
• Plan and deliver strategic engineering and operational projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in mechanical design.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong technical, analytical, and organisational skills.
• Self‑starter who can work with minimal supervision.
• Passion for innovation and personal development.
