Field Retail Merchandiser

Merchandiser Birmingham I am currently recruiting for a Merchandiser to join an apparel brand based in the Midlands. You will be responsible for planning, forecasting and trading for specific season product lines. Supporting the Senior Merchandiser to ensure continued growth in the department. Working collaboratively with buying to drive strategy for future seasons collections. Planning & preparing WSSI proposals for each department by season for all markets. Building relationships with internal teams to continuously develop & optimise product lines. Maximising both Sales & margins ensuring stock requirement achieved Reviewing daily & weekly trading reports to reduce stock risks Responsibility for stock management to increase sales & reduce obsolete stock. Working cross functionally with warehousing, shipping, finance & sales teams to optimise sales and margin, while ensuring high levels of professionalism are achieved. Monitoring key market & competitor activity Previous experience within a Retail Merchandising environment Excellent understanding of all MS Office products especially Excel
